I made Emily von Euw’s peanut sauce (from her cookbook) and poured it on top of some steamed broccolini and chickpea pasta. The sauce had some fancy ingredients like mint and basil leaves, and it was good, but if I had to choose between Emily’s and Derek Simnett’s creamy peanut sauce, I’d choose the latter in a heart beat. Disclaimer: I’m pretty sure that my lunch would’ve been tastier if I had eaten it with some buckwheat soba noodles.

Now, about these fugly polaroids... I used Mint’s lightest exposure comp, but they still came out really dim. I’m posting them because I want to keep track of my progress and see how I improve in terms of exposure, composition, and focus. And the last shot? Ugh. I accidentally hit the shutter button by accident.
